The 55-year-old man from Birkirkara who was in

critical condition following a family argument on Sunday morning is now faring better and is no longer on the

danger list, according to a police statement.

The man was injured at around 3am on Sunday in an apartment in the Ta’ Paris area in Birkirkara.

His injuries were caused by a knife and he was immediately taken to St Luke’s Hospital, while his 21-year-old daughter was detained by the police to help them in their investigations.

Duty magistrate Anthony Vella appointed several experts to help him in the inquiry.
