As announced earlier, the Malta Amateur Athletic Association will be organising an IAAF Level 1 Coaching Course at Marsa between the 1st and 14th of September.

The Malta AAA is now pleased to confirm that the IAAF will be sending an expert team of lecturers for this course. The Course Director will be Mr Quinton S. Botes from Namibia who is an experienced lecturer in IAAF Level 2 Courses held at the IAAF Regional Development Centre in Nairobi. The other two lecturers hail from Great Britain. They are Ms Mel Curds and Mr Scott Grace and both are highly qualified and experienced lecturers.

The Malta AAA also confirms that thanks to the Malta Olympic Committee this course will also benefit from Olympic Solidarity support.

While response for this course has to date been very encouraging, the MAAA wishes to point out that for organisational reasons all applications from prospective participants have to be submitted to the MAAA by the 25th of August.
