The Hibernians Basketball Nursery went to Ragusa in Sicily for a Training Camp between Sunday 22 and Friday 27 July,.

Twenty five players took part in this camp. Their age varied between eight and 16 years. It was held in a newly built modern Sports Complex named Palapianetti in Ragusa and was run by Salvatore Campo, the man behind the organisation and Marketing Director of the same complex.

The training sessions were scheduled in the morning and were under the guidance of Emanuele Sgarlata, a Basketball professional coach. In the evenings, Hibernians teams played against teams from Ragusa.

The TeleNova TV Station provided a good coverage of the Basketball Camp in Ragusa. Infact, head coach Anthony Cassar was interviewed. Even the daily newspaper La Sicilia reported that the Hibernians Basketball Nursery were on a Training Camp in Ragusa.

The success of the Hibernians Basketball Nursery is due to the hard working coaching and administrative staff. Thanks also went to the participants and some parents who accompanied their children in this successful training camp.
