Lorna Buttigieg and Ray Bartolo are vying for a scholarship in Master in Business Administration at the Kurt Bosch Institute, which is represented in Malta by the European Institute of Education (EIE). The scholarship is worth Lm4,700 (EUR10,951).
The two young people are active in the voluntary sector both locally and internationally.
Their educational experience should lead them to improve their entrepreneurial skills as they organise a sporting activity for other young people. They will be examined on their communication and financial planning skills in their activity.
The National Youth Council and the EIE both believe that informal education and academic studies help young people prepare themselves better for the world of work and the challenges they will face in the commercial sector.
