During their one-week training camp in the Czech Republic, the Malta Under 21 team played a friendly match against Second Division side Hradec Kralove and were narrowly beaten 1-0. All 20 players in the Malta squad, coached by Mark Miller and his assistant Silvio Vella, made an appearance.

The squad will travel to Portugal for next Sunday’s friendly international to be played at Vila do Conde.
