The International Brotherhood of Magicians is the largest organisation for illusionists in the world. It has about 15,000 members , who include professional and amateur performers, collectors and historians.

During its most recent conference in Reno, Nevada, it elected two new executive members to the Board of Trustees, one of whom is the Maltese illusionist Vanni Pulé.

Most of the executive members are American and this is the first time in its history that the brotherhood has appointed a European member who is not from the UK. At the same conference, Vanni Pulé judged 30 performers from China, Japan, England, Canada and the US who competed for the Golden Cups Award. He was recently also on the panel of judges in Miami, Florida and in Eastbourne UK, at which convention he performed to the acclaim of over a thousand of his associates.
