Floriana figured in another goalless on Thursday as they played against Serbian side OFK Belgrade.

The Greens will be concluding a pre-season training camp in Serbia today and will be coming back home tomorrow.

Since they arrived there 14 days ago, the Greens have played several friendlies as part of their training camp and figured in other draws, but this one against one of the country’s renowned clubs, was perhaps the best morale booster.

Coach Danilo Doncic made use of all his available players during this match in which Ryan Darmanin went closest to scoring for the Greens with a shot hitting the post.

Floriana will be meeting their great rivals Valletta in the city and suburban derby on the opening day of the Bank of Valletta Premier League. That match is to be played on 27 August.
