Swissport, which is licensed by Bulgaria’s Civil Aviation Administration to perform ground-handling services at Sofia airport, officially started servicing as a second operator at the airport on Thursday.
The Swiss company signed contracts with Air Malta and the Polish airlines LOT. Other companies are also expected to apply to the CAA for a ground handling services licence.
