Archbishop Meets children

The Archbishop’s Curia has announced that it will hold meetings for children prior to the setting up of its Children’s Commission.

Archbishop Pawl Cremona, OP will be attending six meetings, the first of which was held yesterday on the Marsascala parish church’s parvis. It was held for children from Fgura, Zabbar, Vittoriosa, Cospicua, Senglea, Kalkara, Luqa, Paola, Santa Lucija, Tarxien and Marsascala. The second meeting for children hailing from St Paul’s Bay, Mellieha, Manikata, Burmarrad, Gharghur, Mgarr, Mosta, Naxxar and Qawra will be held today on the Qawra church’s parvis.

The third meeting will be held on Thursday 6 September on the Birzebbuga church’s parvis for the children of Gudja, Ghaxaq, Marsaxlokk, Zejtun, Kirkop, Mqabba, Qrendi, Safi, Zurrieq and Birzebbuga.

Details for the following meetings will be given at a later date.

Through these meetings, children will be encouraged to strengthen their participation within the life of the Church and will be given the opportunity to share their thoughts about the Church’s pastoral plan.
