The Nationalist Party said Labour Party general secretary Jason Micallef (photo) had given the game away and laid bare the true agenda of the Labour Party, when he said Labour in government would be a government for Labourites.
The PN said Mr Micallef was speaking in private to a group of Labour activists and friends of former Labour minister Charles Buhagiar.
The PN said his declaration showed that the Labour Party had nothing new to offer except a return to times when those who did not agree with the government of the day would be ignored and discriminated against.
A policy of discrimination was certainly not what young people wanted, the PN said.
