The annual Gammari Muscat tournament organised by Mosta FC at their own ground will get under way this evening.

Lija Athletic, Mgarr United, Gharghur and hosts Mosta will be taking part.

It will be played on a one-round basis.

Concurrently with this tournament, Mosta are also organising an Under 19 competition in which eight teams will be taking part.

St Patrick, Mgarr, Rabat and Mosta are in Group A, while Melita, Sliema, Hamrun and Pieta will play in Group B.

The winners and runners-up of both groups will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament which starts on 27 August and comes to an end on 6 September.
