The Malta Pool Association launched the 2007-8 calendar and opened affiliations to prospective members.

The association will once again hold the National team league, split into four divisions, Team Knockout and Christmas Cup, Three Singles Ranking Tournaments, Euro Qualifier Tournament, World Qualifier Tournament, Bar Owners’ Knockout, Under 18 Team League and Three Under 18 Ranking Tournaments.

The highlight of the season will be the organisation of the European Eight Ball Pool Championships in Malta between 17 and 22 February 2008.

Affiliations will be entertained by not later than 9 September.
