Football legend Ian Rush, Liverpool FC’s highest goalscorer, will be at the Splash and Fun Park tomorrow.
Mr Rush, who also played for Turin giants Juventus, is in Malta in connection with the gala Italy vs England classic match. This match is expected to feature stars from the past including Toto Schillaci, David Platt and many others from the 1990s. Mr Rush cannot play for England as he is Welsh, but he will be coaching the England team. The game, which will be played on 1 November, will be followed by a concert from Simply Red, the British Band featuring Mick Hucknall. Mr Rush will be at Splash and Fun tomorrow where he will address a press conference and will mingle with fans. Those who purchase tickets for the game tomorrow at Splash and Fun will also be given a complimentary ticket for the same park.
