The Malta Transport Authority notifies that due to casting works being carried out on the Manwel Dimech Bridge, access through the Tunnels and the Bridge will not be permitted between Friday 24 August at 8pm and Saturday 25 August at 5pm.

Vehicular traffic from Kappara Junction (Roundabout tal-Gass) in the direction towards St Julians/Paceville will be diverted to Naxxar Road, San Gwann (road beneath Guze Ellul Mercer Bridge). The traffic lights at the Naxxar Road junction will be switched to flashing amber for the duration of the works.

Vehicular traffic from St Andrews in the direction to Valletta will be diverted from Paceville Traffic Light Junction towards St. Andrews Road, St. George's Road and onto Spinola. Any inconvenience is regretted. Motorists are to proceed with caution and to seek alternative routes.
