A picture by Joseph Darmanin was voted best by visitors to the Giuseppe Garibaldi exhibition, obtaining 102 votes out of the total 391 cast.

The pictures considered best were by:

During a ceremony to be organised by the Embassy of Italy together with the Italian Cultural Institute, a special prize will be presented to Mr Darmanin.

A jury awarded the first prize (two Alitalia return tickets to Rome and a week’s stay in a country residence in Umbria) to Mr Mifsud. Various other prizes were awarded to the following artists:
