Next Monday’s Valletta-Floriana Bank of Valletta Premier League match is being transmitted live by Melita Sports on their Sports Channel.

The city and suburban derby is the main match of the opening programme this week and is expected to attract a bumper crowd to Ta’ Qali national stadium.

There will be a preview at 7.30pm which will be followed by the screening of the match live from Ta’ Qali (kick-off 8pm).

It will be the first local league match in a whole series this season that are being transmitted live by Melita Sports via their Sports Channels.

Meanwhile the Police Commissioner has issued the following instructions for next Monday’s football programme at Ta’ Qali - the programme also includes the Sliema W.-Msida SJ encounter at 6pm.

Valletta and Sliema fans are to park their cars in front of the Enclosure and buy their tickets into the Stadium from the office beneath the scoreboard, that is, behind the South goalpost.

Floriana and Msida fans are to park their cars in the vicinity of the Basketball pavilion and should buy their tickets from the ticketing office at the Millennium Stand.

The police will be making thorough searches on all spectators. No hard objects, no fog horns, no smoke canisters or any sort of firework will be allowed into the arena. Among others, offensive and abusive language will not be permitted inside and in the vicinity of the stadium.
