Valletta b’Differenza was the sixth and final evening in this year’s BOV Streets Alive, which was brought to a grand close on Friday.

The public was invited to participate in a number of fun games and other activities. Members of the Red Cross Society introduced the adventurous among the crowds to the experience of abseiling down Valletta City Gate. Another attraction of the evening was a martial arts exhibition of Ninjitsu and Kendo, followed by a demonstration of Tai Chi. Car lovers were unable to resist the appeal of the go-karts exhibition that was organised in Freedom Square.

The highlight of the evening was Bla Kondixin – a satirical performance by the local group Ideas Alive in the ruins of the opera house – and a concert featuring excerpts from operettas and Neapolitan songs at Pjazza Regina.

Organised by Valletta Alive Foundation, in collaboration with Bank of Valletta, BOV Streets Alive sought to promote the capital city for evening leisure and commercial activity. For the second consecutive year, the initiative proved a success, livening up the streets of Valletta for six Friday evenings in a row.
