Harbour Air Seaplanes has recruited its second pilot, Joe Henderson, to cope with the heavy demand for flights from Valletta and Mgarr harbours.

Mr Henderson was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1972.

He obtained his degree from the University of Alberta and his pilot’s licence in 1996.

He has 6,000 flight hours experience, mostly on float planes, flying Cessnas, Beavers, Otters and Twin Otters.

Departing from the Valletta Waterfront, Harbour Air operates a DeHavilland DHC-3 Single Otter seaplane and has a schedule of 12 daily flights to and from Gozo together with a number of scenic tours.

The first flight departs from Valletta at 9:30am and the last flight from Mgarr, Gozo at 6.30pm.
