Vodafone Music Jam is again supporting a major music event in Malta, the ReflexMania concert featuring a special performance by Marc Almond, ex singer with Soft Cell.

ReflexMania, a 1980s music event organised by Reflex Promotions, will be held at the Eden Arena, St Julian’s on 8 September.

It will consist of a six-hour show of 1980s music, lights and sound, as the Eden Arena will be turned into the largest dance-floor on the island. Marc Almond’s live performance will be followed by DJ Alex Grech, who will churn out all the 80s classic hits till the early hours of Sunday morning. His set list will include music from New Romantic and Electronic 80’s groups that were around during Soft Cell times such as Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and Ultravox. Malta’s very own 80s group X-Tend will also perform on the night.

Marc Almond will sing most of his hits during the Soft Cell days such as the No 1 hit single Tainted Love, which was one of the best-selling singles in the 1980s, as well as other Soft Cell hits Bedsitter, Torch and What.
