Week seven of the current Middlesea Valletta Life National League at the Eden SuperBowl saw Pharmavet move up into fourth place thanks to their 0-8 thrashing of QF Ltd, while a similar win over Redwell Heating helped in the victorious HSBC’s campaign for survival.
The much anticipated clash between top two Fina First and Aercomms ended in a four-all draw, while in other matches there were majority wins for NINE against Ramis, and also Union Capital Group over Royal Shock.
While Fina, Aercomms and Union Capital Group appear to be monopolizing the top three spots so far this season, Pharmavet made progress to go fourth thanks to their easy win against QF Ltd this week.
They opened up an early 119 pin leave with a 686-805 game one win, and then doubled their lead to 0-4 with a 739-777 result in game two. HSBC go from ninth to eighth thanks to their 100% victory against Redwell Heating who are now in last place. While HSBC took the opener with great ease (685-787), they had a much tougher time in game two, only just clinching it 721-724.

Week seven for the first clash of the season between arch rival teams Fina First and Aercomms, the former ahead of the latter by eight points at the top of Div I prior to the match.
The opener of the set was a thriller, falling to Aercomms 799-786 late in the game, but Fina were soon on level terms thanks to their 697-739 equaliSer in game two. Game three was another close one, going to Aercomms 777-767, but their two victorious games were not enough to claim the match, as Fina’s better series total made sure of an equal share of the spoils (2273-2292). Union Capital stay third after beating now fifth placed Royal Shock 2-6. Union Capital racked up consecutive wins of 696-765 and 591-706 to go 0-4 ahead after two games, but then Royal Shock seemed to come back to life in a very close game three, winning it 723-718 to claim their two points from the encounter. Ramis lost out to Div I debutants NINE this week, the latter moving off the bottom of the table with the result. NINE took the early advantage with a 761-688 game one win, and then doubled their lead thanks to a 740-673 result in game two.
