After a successful year playing for VRI Riiskov in the Danish third division league in 2003, Joseph Tanti, presently a D6 HC player and Boys U-17 National Coach, succeeded in getting another trial with 1st Division Polish club GKS Olimpia Piekary Slaskie.

Tanti was given a trial as a winger and a pivot.

Mariusz Gracka, Olimpia’s coach with more than 20 years of experience in professional handball was full of praise for Tanti’s performance. Gracka was most surprised with Tanti’s physical preparation and stamina, his ability to play in various roles and his tactical ability with which he stays on court.

This was the second trial in four years that Tanti had with a Polish club. Four years ago he had a trial with first division team AZS AWF Warsaw.
