Once upon a time in Fairy Tale Land all is well: Cinderella is at the ball, Rapunzel is letting her hair down and Sleeping Beauty is about to get a big kiss.

But an alliance of evil-doers, led by Frieda (Weaver), looks to take over Fairy Tale Land. But when Ella (Gellar) realises her stepmother is out to ruin her storybook existence, she leaps into action and with the help of her best friends to back her up she takes a dramatic turn and blossoms into the leader of the resistance effort. Can she save the day and find true love where she least expects it?
