On the second day of the Under-18 Women European championship Division C, being held in Malta, Andorra and Monaco registered wins over Gibraltar and Luxembourg respectively.

For Andorra who were soundly beaten on Tuesday by Malta, this was their first victory. On their part Gibraltar suffered their second consecutive defeat after losing 45-60 against Luxembourg on the first day.

Andorra’s Patricia Vicente was the match’s best scorer with 17 points. The match was refereed by Maltese official Bernard Vassallo.

In the second match controlled by Gordon Barbara Monaco easily defeated Luxembourg 75-44 with Marine Peglion netting 37 points.
