The MFA has announced the prices of admission for the European Championship qualifier between Malta and Turkey on Saturday 8 September.

West Sides A (Upper) and C: Lm10; West Sides A (lower) Lm4.

Millennium Stand Lm3; North Stand Lm3; Ladies, children (Under 11), Kartanzjan holders and persons with special needs card holders (in Millennium Stand only) Lm2.

As from yesterday, there is a pre-sale of tickets from the following authorized outlets: Geraldu Kiosk and Matteo Café in Valletta, Eros Stationery in Paceville, Star Tourism in Bugibba, Teamsport of Iklin and the Health and Fitness Centre at the Millennium Stand, Ta’ Qali national stadium.

The MFA has also announced that on Wednesday 12 September, Malta will be playing against Armenia in a friendly match at Ta’ Qali national Stadium at 8.15pm. Prior to this match, at 5.30pm, Malta will be facing France at 5.30pm in an Under 21 European Championship qualifier.

Admission prices for this programme are Lm3 at the West Stand and Lm2 at the Millennium Stand. Tickets are to be bought on match-day.

Public transport

The Malta Transport Authority notifies that in view of the Euro 2008 Qualifier football match between Malta and Turkey, a special public transport service is being organised operating directly between Valletta and Ta’ Qali and vice-versa. Buses displaying Ta’ Qali, will depart Valletta (in front of ADT office) between 6pm and 7pm. Buses will depart Ta’ Qali from 9pm onwards.

The match between Malta and Turkey is generating great interest locally, and will be one of many important matches scheduled for that date, including the Italy-France showdown in Milan.
