The Malta Transport Authority has notified that due to casting work being carried out on Manwel Dimech Bridge, access through the tunnels and the bridge will not be permitted between 8pm of Monday, 3 September and noon of Tuesday, 4 September.

Vehicular traffic from Kappara Junction (Round-about tal-Gass) in the direction of St Julian’s/Paceville will be diverted to Naxxar Road, San Gwann (the road beneath Guze Ellul Mercer Bridge).

The traffic lights at the Naxxar Road junction will be switched to flashing amber for the duration of the work.

Vehicular traffic from St Andrews in the direction of Valletta will be diverted from Paceville traffic light junction to St Andrews Road, St George’s Road and on to Spinola.

Any inconvenience is regretted. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternative routes.
