The PN has been in government for so many years. The endemic problem is that it has been in power since 1987 with the same faces. Is it possible that the PN is still not aware that the only way to win the next election is to promote new blood? Is it possible that the PN is not aware that Gordon Brown’s Labour Party has regained credibility since he made sure to reshuffle the Cabinet? Why doesn’t the campaign focus on new blood? The PN has a few good names like Simon Busuttil, Mario de Marco, Jason Azzopardi, Robert Musumeci, Ian Castaldi Paris, Ian Spiteri Bailey and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando. What is the PN strategy group waiting for to rely on these people to put them in the forefront? The PN needs to put forward new faces from the professional class in order to do away with the mediocrity that has snowballed under the incumbent party administration.
