The Island Karting Club season started off on 1 September with the pre-season endurance race.

The competition which was held at the Hal Far race-way saw five teams with four drivers each taking part.

The drivers of the winning team were Josef Zaffarese, Trevor Sharp, David Abela and Jacob Borg. Emanuel Muscat, Alfred Filletti, Gianluca Dingli and Michael Pace placed second, followed by Paul Zammit, Adrian Cauchi, Aldo Vella, and Larry Vella.

The Island Karting Club’s next event will be held on the 15 September at Ta’ Qali.
