Water Services Corporation Chairman Michael Falzon yesterday filed a libel suit against Torca editor Aleks Farrugia.

In the writ, Mr Falzon claimed the article entitled Ghaliex il-perit Michael Falzon huwa allergiku ghall-awditur? (Why is architect Michael Falzon allergic to the Auditor?), published on the 9 September issue of the paper was defamatory and intended to tarnish his good name.

He therefore requested the magistrate’s court to award up to Lm5,000 in damages. Dr William Cuschieri filed the writ.
