Dubbed the biggest metal event on the island this year, the Extreme Metal Festival will feature no fewer than 10 bands performing alternately on 2 stages. The line-up includes some of the best extreme metal bands in Malta performing various metal genres including hardcore, death, thrash and doom. The participating bands are Angelcrypt, Arachnid, Club Murder, Corefrequency, Ktinodia, Lithomancy, Loathe, Recoil, Slit and Weeping Silence. The festival will be held at Montekristo Wine Vaults in Luqa on Saturday 15 September. Transport will be available from Valletta (5.30pm sharp) and there will also be services to various localities at 2.15am after the festival has ended. Tickets cost Lm5.
