“The first ever Malta Week at the European Parliament in Strasbourg has succeeded with flying colours,” said PN MEPs Simon Busuttil and David Casa.

The purpose of the initiative was to present a taste of Maltese art, music, food and drink in the European Parliament and to increase the country’s visibility among the 785 MEPs. Malta Week consisted of key events such as an exhibition, Caravaggio: Quote ... Unquote; a reception that marked the official opening of the exhibitions hosted by MEPs Simon Busuttil and David Casa, and a lunch-time live concert which featured the Maltese group Etnika along with light refreshments of typical Maltese food and drink.
