A 21 year-old man from Zurrieq is in critical condition after he was hit by a Mitsubishi Pajero in Triq Lapsi, Siggiewi yesterday at 5.30am.
The man was immediately taken to St Luke’s Hospital where his condition worsened and he is now in danger of dying. The Pajero was driven by a 27 year old woman from Zurrieq.
Duty Magistrate Michael Mallia opened an inquiry into the case. Police investigations are still under way.
