Your Generosity

Malta Independent Friday, 14 September 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

During my short holiday in my home country, I visited the office of the Mission Fund in Mosta to thank them for the continuous support they give us missionaries living and working in Third World countries. One of my reasons for visiting Mission Fund was to inform them of my new mission that I will take up on my return from my home leave.

In Sudan, I will be starting a new media centre to spread the Gospel message and to promote the dignity of the people in south Sudan, Juba. This is our mission and it is for this reason that the Archbishop of Juba pleaded for our congregation to pen a book and media centre.

It is with gratitude that I would like to thank Mission Fund for the generous contribution they gave me to help start this important mission, because as the Bishop told us: “People are hungry for the word of God. Please come and give us your contribution as daughters of St Paul.”

I therefore thank you for supporting Mission Fund by sending them used stamps, used telecards and other donations in order to support us missionaries. Please continue to do so.

We thank you, and may I assure you of my daily prayers and those of all the congregation because since you are our benefactors this makes you part of our mission.
