Surely, upon entering into most Maltese households, one would find the Bible. Whether this is actually read or not is a different story.
For this season, Haddiehor will try to help the Maltese public, understand and appreciate this book better. Undoubtedly, the Bible is the most sold and read book in the world. It is the book that has been translated into most languages, and the book most spoken about.
The Pope is dedicating next year to the spreading of the Word of God, and this is what led Haddiehor to discuss topics found in the Bible.
What is the Bible? Who wrote it? How is it divided? Is there more to it then just a story? Above all, Haddiehor will endeavour to show that the Bible is the book about mankind from creation till today. Stories recounted in the Bible are still relevant.
Haddiehor will include drama based on Bible passages, interpreting situations which are still valid today. One will note that these are after all the same situations experienced by people throughout the years.
The public will be able to participate via telephone or sms as well as through vox-pops.
Fr Marcello Ghirlando, will again be the resident guest, but this year, Psychiatrist Dr Mark Xuereb will be joining him and together with other guests will tackle the topics and problems in question.
Haddiehor is produced by CAM Productions international, under the direction of Fr Louis Mallia mssp. Haddiehor is presented by Marthese Brincat.
