Labour MP Speaks on terrorism

Labour MP Anglu Farrugia has been chosen by the American government, from a limited number of foreign participants to take part in the senior executive course at the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies in Germany.

This course comprises lectures, simulations, case studies and discussions, with the aim of addressing a number of security issues.

Dr Farrugia has frequently been selected to monitor elections abroad especially in places that are described as risk areas in Third World countries.

Writing in his personal weblog, Dr Farrugia said only 15 participants had been chosen from around the world, including an American general, another general, and two foreign ministers.

He also revealed that, due to his experience in this area, he was chosen to give a lecture on international terrorism.
