Three youths aged between 13 and 16 years were on Saturday charged with sexual assault on a minor.
The accused, who cannot be named as they are still minors, pleaded not guilty to charges of having sexually assaulted a young girl on 13 September. They also pleaded not guilty to detaining the alleged victim against her will.
The court, presided over by Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera granted house arrest to the three accused.
