Water Services Corporation (WSC) chairman Michael Falzon yesterday filed his third libel suit, this time against Opposition Leader Alfred Sant, Labour Party president Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi, secretary general Jason Micallef and editor of the MLP website Mark Farrugia.

In the writ, Mr Falzon claimed that the press statement issued by the MLP titled Michael Falzon has no other choice but to resign as WSC chairman and uploaded on the official MLP portal www.mlp.org.mt was defamatory and intended to tarnish his good reputation.

He therefore requested the Court of Magistrates to award up to Lm5,000 in damages.

Dr William Cuschieri and Dr Adrian Delia signed the writ.
