“Master Group had a very busy summer this year with the launch of new interesting wines and other products. Following the recent addition of two new wines to our Palatine range, we are now officially presenting our first wine from Gozo’s soil, gwl and we are proud to be doing this on our sister island of Gozo,” said Louie Camilleri, general manager of Master Group during a lunch hosted for media editors and journalists.
Louie Camilleri explained that gwl, which is a blend of a Chardonnay and a Syrah, marks another first for Camilleri Wines as it is their first brand fully grown and harvested in Gozo.
Louie Camilleri also announced the appointment of Gozo Express as the new distributors in Gozo for master group.
Louie Camilleri took the opportunity to present Camilleri Wines’ newly designed corporate logo.
Claudio Camilleri, head of sales and marketing of master group spoke about the introduction of a number of other new products on the market.
Mr Camilleri said, “Master Group is indeed a company that is capable of a sound diversification and we have done this recently through the introduction of a number of new products on the market. These include mySmoothie, a new range of smoothies (squeezed fruit) made in Sweden from 100 per cent fresh fruit. The brand comes in six distinct flavours namely Blueberry, Raspberry, Mango, Peach, Strawberry and Passion Fruit. The innovation is in the packaging using the most advanced techniques available, giving them a longer shelf life with no added sugar, additives, or preservatives.
“Another milestone for Master Group is the acquisition of the prestigious brand Hildon Natural Mineral Water from the UK. The Hildon brand is served and savoured in the finest restaurants and best hotels worldwide and is offered at some of the most prestigious events. master group has taken up the commitment to service the catering industry with this exceptional brand that is a natural accompaniment to fine dining both in terms of its taste and its presentation.
“Other new products that will be launched shortly on the market include the third in the successful Laurenti range of wines - the Laurenti Vermentino Viognier. This blend is a new one and another first for the Maltese market and we are very confident that this splendid wine will sustain and strengthen Laurenti even more as our current premium brand.
