The success of the International School of Hairdressing of Santa Venera recently culminated in a great hair show, with the participation of the school students and tutors.

Parents and students at Le Méridien St Julians were entertained to a Hair Styles Through the Ages show, during which a power point presentation introduced the different hairstyles from the 1940s until today. Diploma students worked on the hairstyles, under the supervision of their able tutors, while students and models showed different clothes and hairstyles on the catwalk in accordance with the years of fashion. The tutors and advanced level diploma students prepared models with “fantasy” hairstyles.

The show was followed by a cocktail reception and the giving out of certificates and prizes by the principal Vanessa Aquilina, who apart from congratulating the students for the excellent results obtained, encouraged all students to embark on continuous professional education, by keeping au courant with emerging hair styles and techniques.

Vanessa also thanked the main sponsors, namely Sidroc Services for providing Affinage and Fudge hair products used on all the models and Phard by Gianni, Valletta, for the clothes used by the models of the contemporary period.
