During the week the police solved a number of cases regarding heroin, cannabis and cocaine possession as well as cannabis cultivation.

A number of people are being investigated for breach of intellectual property rights, fraud and misappropriation.

Some people have already been arraigned in connection with these cases while others are about to be charged in court in the coming days.

The police also managed to solve a snatch and grab, robberies in San Gwann and Swieqi, the breach of a probation order, a case of bodily harm and a case of defilement of a minor.

In all of these cases, court proceedings have been initiated against a number of people.
