The Malta Rugby Football Union (MRFU) has announced that the union has started airing a weekly educational television production which is to focus mainly on the ‘Youth Sections’ and ‘Nurseries’ which falls in line with the union’s development policy.

This week’s first programme included two features on the history of international and local rugby and a basic introduction to Rugby with guests Nick Gatt (Public Relations Officer, MRFU), Robert Portelli (Schools Rugby Coordinator) and Nadia Gosney (Secretary, Falcons Nursery).

In the coming weeks the programme will feature a special edition from Ragusa Rugby Club. Our camera’s will be joining local champions ‘Stompers TGI Fridays RFC’ and their U/18 side on their pre-season tour of Sicily.

‘Rugby Nurseries’ is aired on Smash Television every Tuesday evening at 8.10pm, presented by Mario Pisani and produced by Nick Gatt and Robert Portelli.
