A Libyan national was given a seven-month jail term after he was found guilty of trespassing and escaping from police custody.
Before Magistrate Edwina Grima, Hassan Omar Ali Abdulsalam, 27, from Benghazi, pleaded guilty to trespassing into a house in Victoria on 2 September. He was also found guilty of having escaped from policy custody and relapsing.
Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.
