The Mondo Messina Malta Football School will be holding an Open Day this Sunday, 30th September at 3.30 pm at the new Melita FC Sports Complex in Pembroke. The Open Day is free of charge and will be an opportunity for boys and girls to spend an afternoon playing their favorite sport under the supervision of a graduate and highly experienced football coach. All participants at the Open Day will received a free bottle of Powerade.

The Mondo Messina Malta Football School is a specialised school of football for boys and girls from 6 to 14 years. The school is run by Marko Glumac who holds a master degree in football coaching, UEFA “B” Licence and is the Head Coach at Melita FC.

Since it first opened three years ago the school has helped numerous kids to further develop their football and development skills. This year coaching will commence on 1st October and will be spread over an eight month period. Similar to last year The Mondo Messina Football School will also be organizing a similar program in Gozo. The Gozo program will commence in November and will be held at the Ray Mercieca Sports Complex in Kercem.

This year the school will be offering an excellent program for kids to improve their basic techniques and learn new advanced skills in an enjoyable environment. The development of the kids will be monitored during the season and assessed three times through various tests. The results will be presented to the parents with the aim of indicating the player’s skill level and where he or she needs to focus to improve the game.

The school is affiliated with the reputed Messina School of Football. During the season the kids will also have the opportunity to participate in various tournaments locally and overseas with the participation of other kids from Italy.
