A futsal international friendly tournament, organised by the MFA, is being held at the Corradino Sports Pavilion between yesterday and tomorrow. There will be four participating teams, with the Maltese champions, Jeepers, and Malta joined by the Italian sides Ficarazzi and Misterbianco.

This competition is intended to give our teams, including the national team, more exposure to the international scene and thus earn our players much needed match practice at this level.

The Malta squad is composed of the following players:

Bjorn Vassallo, Benny Gialanze, Nicholas Bilocca, Tyron Borg, Noel Bray, Roderick Caruana, John Cutajar, Mark Sullivan, Robert Magro, Nebjosa Mijailovic, Jeanbert Gatt, Paul Bugeja, Timothy Ellis, Jonathan Sammut.

The programme of remaining matches is as follows:

Today 4pm Ficarazzi v Misterbianco; 6pm Malta v Jeepers

Tomorrow 11am Jeepers v Misterbianco; 1pm Malta v Ficarazzi
