I refer to the letter from Mr C. Pace (TMIS, 23 September).

The clear true facts of what occurred on 4 June 2004 prove that KRS actually and officially submitted the film in question for the board’s viewing and classification. After due scrutiny by the members of the board, including myself, a meeting was subsequently held during which it was mutually agreed that the film should be sent back to the suppliers.

Whether the above event signifies a “banning” or “withdrawal” makes no difference.

Furthermore, I must insist that our local PG rating must never be compared to or confused with the UK’s 12A or the USA’s PG-13.

I consider this correspondence as closed!
