The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co has answered every parents’ prayers and published the essential reference book for parents living in Malta – the first edition of The Malta Baby & Kids Directory sponsored by HSBC, now available in most bookshops and stationers. Whether it be pregnancy massage, inspiring days out with your kids, deciding on a school, organising a kids’ party, late night chemists or even pet rescue, you name it, The Malta Baby & Kids Directory is the A-Z of everything and anything that parents/grandparents and child carers will need to find for kids aged 0-14 years in the Maltese Islands.

The inspiration for the book was born during the pregnancy of Lisa Grech, editor of the Malta Baby & Kids Directory, who as a first time mother found a serious lack of guidance and wished there had been a comprehensive reference book available on the brave new world of babies. The Malta Baby & Kids Directory aims to provide essential reading and invaluable information including: pregnancy and birth, health, childcare, education, sports, activities, days out, shopping, parties, travel or simply general advice.

To celebrate the launch of the directory, a painting competition for kids from 4-14 years who can send in a painting on the theme A Magical Day Out in the Maltese Islands is being held. The 12 winning paintings will be exhibited at the Razzett Tal Hbiberija and will be included in a 2008 official Razzett tal-Hbiberija calendar. All proceeds from the calendar will be donated to the Razzett. Winners will also be entitled to a tree package from 34U. The deadline for entries for the competition is 1 November, the details for which are included in the Malta Baby & Kids Directory.
