A man wearing a crash helmet yesterday made off with a small amount of money from a lotto booth on the Cospicua waterfront.
According to preliminary police investigations, at around 12.30pm, a man walked into the lotto booth and ordered the employee to hand over the money.
The police said they are holding a man in connection with this case.
Duty magistrate Miriam Hayman appointed various experts to help her in the inquiry.
Police are investigating.
