Malta champion Alex Borg has been nominated by the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association to represent the country in the forthcoming world championships in Thailand.

The event is to take place between 10 and 25 November.

The MBSA Council has decided to fund the flight and accommodation expenses for Borg as well as providing him with an allowance of Lm170.

It also thanked Emirates Airlines for accepting to partly aid Borg's trip to Thailand.
