Enemalta Corporation celebrated its 30th anniversary last Monday with Enemalta Chairman Ing. Alexander J. Tranter and senior officials taking the initiative to organise a role change day at the corporation.

The initiative saw Enemalta’s senior officials sharing responsibility for jobs normally not associated with top management, such as installing new electricity services and refuelling aircraft.

Ing. Tranter said the initiative was beneficial to both the employees who were given the time to explain their jobs and difficulties they encountered, and also gave the opportunity to the management to meet with various employees.

“Enemalta employs around 1,700 workers in various sections and it is imperative that the management team shows appreciation for all the valid work,” Ing. Tranter said.

The chairman spent the day installing new electrical services, chief executive David Spiteri Gingell met with Enemalta’s customers, chief technical officer Ing. Grima supervised health and safety, Chief HR Officer Anthony Bonello helped in refuelling aircraft at Enemalta’s aviation section while Chief Finance Pippo Pandolfino went around supervising the collection of dues.
