The Maltese Ambassador for China, Karl Xuereb together with his wife and son visited the Special Olympics Malta contingent during the World Games. Apart from seeing the Maltese team participate in the first swimming heats, he also spent some time with them at dinner.

Yesterday, the Maltese team participated in the first swimming heats with the relay 4 x 50m team, consisting of 3 boys and a girl, and finished in the second place.

Today they will participate in the finals. Charmaine Mifsud classified fourth but today she will participate in her division’s final round. Today the bowlers will take part in the preliminaries and tomorrow will see the start of athletics and gymnastics
