I have heard quite a lot of crazy stuff in my time but the supposition that the McCann family are being suspected of murdering their daughter Madeleine surpasses the extreme.
How can the desolate family, with no mask hiding their intense grief manage to hold a worldwide campaign to search for Madeleine’s whereabouts, seek an audience with the Pope, suffer a multitude of injurious questions, are actually being suspected of the disappearance of little Madeleine?
Not only do this family have to come to terms with the idea that their daughter might have vanished forever, but to add insult to grievous injury, they are now being hounded.
What actually is the evidence that connects Mr and Mrs McCann to the crime?
The evil that man can do is utterly deplorable but more evil is the way two people are being unjustly suspected when there are no conspicuous facts that might incriminate them.
Investigators should be truly penitent for evoking more sorrow on a couple whose grief is quite real for all to see.
